Beer Releases
Tuesday:
Blackhorse: “Winter Lager” - Spiced Amber Lager, on draft and in bottled 12oz 6 pks available only at the taproom
Hi-Wire: “Sour To The People” - A week-long celebration of rare sour and wild ales from Hi-Wire’s South Slope Specialty Brewery in Asheville (through Saturday, Jan. 22). Each day starting at 3:00pm there will be an unveiling of a pre-set flight (details below) featuring one extremely-limited vintage tasting from the hallowed depths of the Hi-Wire Cellar. Each set flight of four 4oz pours will cost $18 and will include a stemless Hi-Wire Brewing tasting glass for you to take home, while supplies last. These special beers never hit shelves outside of their taprooms, and more often than not, they're never brewed again. Better take advantage before they’re gone for good!

Xul: “VHS 041” - Espresso Macaroon Imperial Pastry Stout
Thursday:
Albright Grove: Lost Trails Series Release: “Mellinger Death Ridge IPA” - Named after the ridgeline that runs up to Thunderhead Mountain, and is the gruesome site of the murder of Mellinger. Caught in a poachers’ bear trap placed illegally, the poachers found him, still alive, and decided to dump him over the cliff along the ridge. His body remained there until one of the poachers confessed to his crime on his death bed. After which Mellinger’s remains were found and the ridgeline named after him. Brewed with Strata, Columbus and Idaho 7 hops for a dank, piney and citrus forward IPA with a crisp, clean bitter finish! (Lost Trail Series Premise: An exploration into the deep, overgrown over abundance of hops! We explore ever changing hop varietals with each release, and suiting the base beer style to best accentuate these luscious botanicals. The Lost Trails are those found by rumor and word of mouth in the thick wildernesses of the Smokies, often called "man-ways". These trails are for the bold and adventurous, scaling knife edge ridgelines, jagged peaks and thick, overgrown networks of green; yielding the highest joy to those who find them!)
