A full and as complete as possible list of craft beer centric events happening in Knoxville, TN this week!

Tuesday 4/27: 

  • Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus Special Event/Beer Release: Samba Singer pineapple & Belgian candy cider release with a pineapple upside down cake food pairing and Samba music starting at 6:30pm to celebrate the release

  • Blackhorse/Beer Release: Blackhorse Schwarzbier, available on tap and for growler fills 

  • Brew house at Bearden Beer Market/Beer Release: releasing 2 new beers this week; Currently Bob-omb (Blueberry, raspberry and black current fruited sour 7.2%) and Viking Knife (west coast malty DIPA 8.1%)

  • Printshop/Beer Release: “Manuscripts Don’t Burn” margarita-inspired Gose 

  • Next Level will be releasing “Volunbeer” a new light lager

Wednesday 4/28: 

  • Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus/Special Event: Live music with Davis Mitchell starting at 6pm

  • Crafty Bastard/Special Event: “Pull A Weed & Raise A Pint Night” to benefit Burwell Gardens with Ebony & Ivory collab “Pollinator” (honey & lavender pale ale) starts at 6pm

  • Printshop/Special Event: Painting with a Twist Painting: a class with step-by-step instructions through a specific painting of the day. To register or learn more, visit https://www.paintingwithatwist.com/studio/knoxville-central/event/2716082/and use code SupportLocal15 to receive 15% off.

Thursday 4/29:

  • Casual Pint-Bearden/Special Event: Music Bingo in partnership with Terrapin Brewing Company. Have fun and win special prizes all while raising money for Second Harvest Food Bank. 

  • Clinch River/Beer Release: Clinch River and Crafty Bastard have collaborated to create Cherry Krishna, a sour blend with cherries and nocino (liqueur made from unripened green walnuts)

  • Geezers/Special Event/Beer Release: live music with Grady Milligan 7-9pm. "Psych Byke" American Wheat Ale beer release. Short for psychedelic bicycle and likened to a Blue Moon, it will be served up at the taproom with an orange slice.

  • The Oak Room by Abridged/Beer Release: “Curious” whisky barrel aged stout with cinnamon, cocoa nibs, coffee, and bananas. Available on draft and in bottles

  • Pretentious/Beer Release: “Chug Life” Czech Pilsner returns to the taproom

  • Xül/Beer Release: double can release day! Tech Noir fruited sour variant with passion fruit, mango, and peach. Supernova Goes Pop super fruited sour with 100 pounds per barrel of raspberry & 3 pounds of vanilla beans

Friday 4/30:

  • Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus/Special Event: live music with Grady Milligan at 6pm as well as a Carmen Miranda costume contest to celebrate the Samba Singer cider release week

  • Hi-Wire/Special Event/Beer Release: releasing 2 new high gravity beers with  West Coast IPA (10% ABV) and Mango WOW! Imperial Golden Ale (9% ABV) in 4-packs of 16oz cans. And to commemorate Adopt A Shelter Pet Day, Hi-Wire is hosting  shelter pets from the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley that are available for adoption from 4-8pm as well as donating $1 from every flagship pint sold to the humane society.

  • Pretentious/Beer Release: Pretentious releases new beers every Friday, including 2 new hazy IPAs this Friday, and has also announced that they will have new slushies available every weekend! Available both at the taproom and now available to go.

  • Xül/Beer Release: new Xeltzer release, “Pina Colada” (coconut, pineapple and lime seltzer) 

Saturday 5/1:

  • Knox Brew Hub will be releasing Albright Grove’s latest seasonal release: Ridgeline Maibock

  • Clinch River/Special Event: Nashville music artist Will King is performing from 7-9pm 

  • Fanatic/Special Event: Expanding taproom hours from 5-9 to noon to 9pm. That’s pretty fantastic! 

  • Xül/Beer Release: new HYFR DIPA variant can release with Citra, Citra Cyro, and Motueka hops 

Sunday 5/2: 

  • Crafty Bastard/Special Event: $1 from every pint sold will benefit Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee 

Monday 5/3: 

  • Crafty Bastard Special Event/Beer Release: Grady Milligan plays the patio Monday night and there will be a new sour beer release
