A full and as complete as possible list of craft beer centric events happening in Knoxville, TN this week!

This Week:

• Bearden Beer Market & Brewhouse/Beer Release: 4 new beer releases this week: “Clouded Mindz” NEIPA, “Bruiseberry” (blackberry and blueberry kettle sour), “Apricot Dabra” (apricot and tangerine kettle sour), and “Batting Practice” (El Dorado and Mosaic “low cal” session IPA)

• Clinch River w/ Ebony & Ivory/Beer Release: “Midnight Special” (black IPA)

• Printshop/Special Event: Celebrating 3 year anniversary all month with special beer releases, new merch, taproom specials, and a special birthday raffle to be drawn on May 31. Buy a pint or a flight to be entered to win a brewery tour, gift cards, or swag!

Tuesday 5/4:

• Blackhorse/Special Event: GRAND OPENING of the brand new pub, brewery, and beer garden in Alcoa!

• Casual Pint-Bearden/Special Event: Star Wars Trivia from 7-8pm

• Elst/Beer Release: “Nessie Seshie” (Citra IPA), named for neighbors Loch & Key Productions’ 10 year anniversary

• Next Level/Special Event/Beer Release: Star Wars Trivia & Wood Oven Eats food truck; special prizes for trivia include a grand prize of a Last Supper-inspired Star Wars print by Tre Jack. Beer releases include “Viejo Norte Knox” (dark Mexican lager) and “Juan Solo” (margarita sour)

• Printshop/Special Event/Beer Release: May is National Bike Month, so every Tuesday for Pint Night $1 from every pint sold will be donated to Kickstand and Knox Loves Bikes; “Moonlit Bridges” (Double IPA) beer release

Wednesday 5/5:

• Albright Grove/Special Event: Painting With Friends event at 6pm

• Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus/Special Event/Beer Release: Cinco de Mayo celebration with Latin music, food specials, and the “Graffiti Garden Tepache” release (Tepache is a fermented beverage made from the peel and the rind of pineapples, and is sweetened either with piloncillo or brown sugar, seasoned with powdered cinnamon, and served cold. Though tepache is fermented for several days, the resulting drink does not contain much alcohol)

• Crafty Bastard/Beer Release: “Chili Lime Gose” returns to the taproom

• Xül/Beer Release: “VHS 021” - Stout with coconut, coffee, vanilla & marshmallow

Thursday 5/6:

• Albright Grove/Beer Release: “Single Track #9”-Little River IPA blended with fresh cantaloupe

• Casual Pint-Bearden/Special Event: Nurses Week begins May 6, and all nurses enjoy 50% off prints from the 6th to the 12th of May with your badge

• Clinch River/Beer Release: Berliner Weisse with strawberry, kiwi, and hibiscus

• Crafty Bastard/Beer Release: Yearly return of the “White Arrow Pine Ale”

• Geezers/Special Event: live music 7-9 with Full Moon Shadow (Solo set with Chad Grennor of the band Ten Years)

• Xül/Beer Release: Named TBD IPA release with Citra & Mosaic

Friday 5/7:

• Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus/Special Event: live music in the taproom with Mike Mauldin at 6pm

• Casual Pint-Bearden/Special Event: 50% off pints for teachers

• Crafty Bastard/Special Event: First Friday is back at Crafty, featuring local artist Kara Lockmiller

• Elst/Beer Release: can release of “Juicy IPA” and “Uncle Drew’s Hop Dew Hazy IPA”

• Geezers/Special Event: First Friday art show & live music! Featured art by Adam Deal, and live music with Rolls Rollsch (performing as a two piece, Aaron Shugart-Brown and Tony Johnson will be deconstructing their usual sound of ambient, psychedelic, and post-punk)

• Hi-Wire/Beer Release: bottle release of “Sour Red” aged on Barbadian Cherries

• Xül/Beer Release: “Cuban Contraband” fruited Tiki inspired sour with strawberry, cucumber, orange zest, mint & lime

Saturday 5/8:

• Clinch River/Special Event: live music at the taproom with The Fountain City Ramblers from 7-9pm

• Hexagon/Special Event: Welcome Back Michael party with live karaoke. Michael Ensor of Valraven Forge Blacksmith Shop is a loyal friend of Hexagon and to celebrate his recovery from quintuplet heart bypass, they are throwing him a party complete with beer, karaoke from 7-10pm, and his favorite grape soda. Happy healing, Michael!

Sunday 5/9:

• Albright Grove/Special Event: live music on the patio with an acoustic set from Jessica Watson & friends from 4-6pm

• Clinch River/Special Event: live music with Grady Milligan at 2pm

• Crafty Bastard/Beer Release: Aviation cocktail inspired beer release for Mother’s Day, draft only availability

• Elst/Special Event: Half off flights for mothers of two AND four legged children!
